Delcid Erosion Control LLC ("Delcid," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits delcidec.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the third-party services involved, and the choices and rights available to you. It is written with reference to the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), as a matter of good practice, regardless of where you are located.

This policy is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. If you have specific legal questions about how this policy applies to your situation, please consult a qualified attorney.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a limited number of trusted third-party providers to build, secure, host, and improve the Site. Each provider processes certain technical data as described below:

  • Cloudflare: content delivery network (CDN), DNS, and security services. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and connection data to protect the Site from abuse and to deliver content efficiently. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • GitHub: used by our development team to store and manage the Site's source code. GitHub does not collect personal information from Site visitors.
  • Google Analytics: analytics tool that helps us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., pages viewed, time on site, traffic sources). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect data such as IP address, device and browser information, and on-site behavior. See Google's Privacy Policy and opt-out options at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google Search Console: used by us to monitor and maintain the Site's presence in Google Search results. Google Search Console primarily processes aggregated search-performance data and does not directly track individual visitors on the Site.
  • Google Fonts: used to load custom typography. Depending on how fonts are delivered, your browser may connect to Google's servers, which can process your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • YouTube (Google): used to embed video content (such as our company videos) directly on the Site. Playing an embedded video may allow YouTube/Google to set cookies and collect data about your device and viewing activity. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Maps: used to display our business location on our Contact page. Loading the map may allow Google to collect information such as your IP address and device data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): we display a BBB accreditation seal sourced from BBB's servers, which may involve a request to BBB's servers when the Site loads. See BBB's Privacy Policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. If we add other analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy accordingly.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: (a) our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Site and communicating with prospective clients; (b) your consent, where required for certain cookies or tracking technologies; and (c) compliance with a legal obligation, where applicable.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 3, each of which processes data on our behalf or as an independent data controller under their own privacy policy, and where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers (such as Cloudflare and Google) operate global infrastructure and may process or store data outside of your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, these providers implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data transferred internationally.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information you provide to us (such as contact form or email inquiries) only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Automatically collected analytics data is retained according to each third-party provider's own retention practices, described in their respective privacy policies.
