Stormwater Control System (SCM) Linking
Slope Stabilization
In this work, you can see two small retaining walls:
- A 5-foot wall, with 4 feet above ground and 1 foot of foundation.
- A 3-foot wall, with 2 feet above ground and 1 foot of foundation.
Both walls include a French drain in the foundation and a clean-out with solid pipe that connects from the perforated pipe upwards, leading into a “T” connection.
Blocked water valves due to debris can significantly affect the urban drainage system, leading to increased erosion issues.
When drainage systems are obstructed, the proper flow of stormwater is disrupted. This can cause water to accumulate in unwanted areas, increasing the risk of flooding and accelerating soil erosion. In areas where water stagnates or flows uncontrollably, soil erodes more quickly, leading to land loss and environmental degradation.
For effective erosion control, it is essential to ensure that drainage systems, including water valves, remain clear and fully operational, allowing for proper water flow. Obstructions not only disrupt drainage but also amplify the erosive impact on surrounding areas.
At Delcid Erosion Control LLC, we have a skilled team and the right tools to implement efficient solutions, ensuring effective soil erosion control and long-lasting results.
Water Valves on Urban Erosion Control
At Delcid Erosion Control LLC, we have the expertise to effectively install dissipater pads that reduce water flow velocity and prevent erosion. Our highly trained technicians excavate the area based on the stone’s size and classification, ensuring that the dissipater pads are installed according to engineering specifications designed to withstand the force of water flow over the long term.
With extensive experience in erosion control projects, we use dissipater pads in applications such as swales, ponds, plunge pools, berms, and more. At Delcid Erosion Control LLC, we take pride in providing durable and efficient erosion control solutions.

Pond Conversion and Stabilization Project
This pond conversion was carried out to meet the required design elevations and ensure long-term stabilization of the site. To achieve compliance with project specifications and long-term performance, the following erosion control measures were implemented:
- Double net matting for slope stabilization
- Core matting at the bottom of the pond for additional reinforcement
- Permanent seeding to establish sustainable vegetation
These solutions work together to manage storm water, control erosion, support environmental resilience, and maintain the structural integrity of the site.
At Delcid Erosion Control, we bring technical precision and field-tested methods to every project. Whether you’re preparing for inspections, managing stormwater compliance, or seeking long-term site stabilization, our team is ready to deliver.
